Good Evening Eagles,

As construction continues across our secondary campus, we are reminding you of updated traffic patterns to ensure the safety of our students and staff. These changes will impact both morning arrival and afternoon dismissal, and we ask for your patience as everyone adjusts.

Entering Secondary Campuses (Arrival)

• The area between the Admin Building and Ag Building is now exit only. No one will be allowed to enter here. 

• The exit beside the technology building & RMS is now blocked. There is no access in this area.

• Only staff and buses may enter between the green room and theatre during arrival and dismissal. Visitors should plan to arrive after 8:00 am and before 3:00 pm to avoid bus congestion. 

• Staff and signage will be present at both entry and exit points to help keep traffic moving efficiently.

• Parents and visitors may not park in front of Rogers Middle School during arrival and dismissal as this area is now a bus-only lane. Visitors should plan to arrive after 8:00 am and before 3:00 pm to avoid bus congestion. 

Morning Drop-Off (Secondary Students)

• Parents may drop off students:

  • In front of the cafeteria, or

  • In the band practice parking lot beside the Doggett Gym

  • Any students who have morning tutorials should be dropped off in front of the Bonds Building. 

Afternoon Dismissal

• All secondary car riders will be picked up in the band practice parking lot (near the green room). There is no longer pick up allowed in front of Rogers Middle School. 

• Parents must remain in their vehicles and move through the car rider line. Parking or stopping in a way that blocks traffic will not be allowed.

• Shuttle students (from RES) who are car riders will also be dropped off in this lot and monitored by staff. Parents should stay in line and pick up those students through the same process.

Additional Traffic Impacts

• Secondary buses will arrive and dismiss between the Admin and Ag buildings, reinforcing the need to keep that area clear for bus traffic.

• Some parking areas are currently unavailable in front of the green room and technology building. Visitor parking after 8:00 am and before 3:00 pm is available in front of RMS and at the admin building. 

• Traffic routes, student walkways, and entry points have been adjusted due to construction, and staff will be present to assist with safe transitions.

Student Parking

• Students should not park in the band practice parking lot unless they have purchased and painted a reserved parking spot. Students with painted reserved spots will continue to have access for the remainder of the year
• Beginning Tuesday, March 24, parking in the band practice parking lot (red area on the map) will be limited to students with a painted reserved spot in that lot only
• Students without a painted reserved spot in the band practice parking lot will not be allowed to park in that area

These procedures are in place to keep traffic flowing and, most importantly, to ensure the safety of all students in an active construction zone. We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and support as we continue making improvements to our facilities.
