Rogers Independent School District

In accordance with Texas Education Code Chapter 12A, [District Name] is designated as a District of Innovation. This designation provides local flexibility from certain provisions of the Texas Education Code, allowing the district to better meet the unique needs of its students and community.

The District of Innovation Plan outlines the specific exemptions the district has adopted and the goals these flexibilities are intended to support. The plan was developed with input from a local innovation committee and was approved by the Board of Trustees following a public hearing.

The District of Innovation Plan is reviewed periodically and may be amended as needed in accordance with state law.
